Ash / Nion is part of the Ogham Tree Alphabet series. I started with a drawing of the green ash tree, known in the ancient Irish tree alphabet as Nion. The colors are inspired by natural greens, peach, and deep purply brown. Some of my favorite shapes appear here, with the profusion of waving branches weaving through them.
